FSOA: Elementary Parent Communication 11/15/2024

It’s hard to believe, but we only have one more school week in November. Good luck in this last week before Thanksgiving Break. Please be sure to check out these other important announcements too.

School Photo Retakes 

• Studio 5 will be back at FSOA for a second Picture Day on Wednesday, November 20th between 8 and 1 PM (during Peer Engagement)
• Students who missed our first picture day or who need a retake should attend. All students must have a FSOA student ID, which are required for activities like field trips. Please make plans to attend on November 20th to get an updated photo for your Student ID

Skate City Fundraiser - Get Ready to Roll, FSOA! 

• Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 11th, from 6:00-8:00 PM, because we're taking over Skate City in Westminster (200 W. 121st St.) for an epic night of fun! 
• Admission is just $7—bring your own skates or rent a pair for $5. 
• We can't wait to see you there!

End of Semester Schedule

• Due to final exams at the secondary level, the last week of the semester has some changes!  For the complete schedule, click here. 
  • Synchronous morning classes Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday.
  • No CAMP classes Tuesday or Wednesday.  ELD and SPED groups still meet these days. 
  • Learning Labs will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Peer Engagement has been moved to Thursday for a Winter Celebration from 8am-12pm

*Note that students in a special education, ELD, or CAMP class have synchronous meetings in the afternoons on M.T.Th.F

**For students to be able to go on a field trip, they need to fill out the Intent to Participate form to reserve their spot. Students receive an email after the form closes confirming their spot on the field trip. No walk-on spots available.
