FSOA: Elementary Parent Communication - 9/20/2024

Parent Teacher Conferences

  • On Wednesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 10th we will be hosting Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences. Please reference the email, “FSOA: Elementary Conference Information and Sign-ups,” sent on Thursday, September 19th to sign-up!

  • On the day of conferences, please use the Google Meet Link to join your child’s conference (unless you are requesting in person on 10/10).  We look forward to speaking with you and celebrating your child’s progress!

    • Wednesday, Oct 9th (afternoon virtual conferences or evening virtual OR in-person conferences at FSOA)

      • 1:00 pm- 3:30 pm (virtual)

      • 4:30 - 7:30 pm (Virtual or in-person)

Vision and Hearing

  • FSOA will be conducting Vision and Hearing screening on October 2nd during Peer Engagement.

  • All 5th graders and students on an IEP will be tested. If you wear glasses, make sure to bring them that morning. 

Picture Day and Student IDs

  • Mark your calendars on October 9th because Studio 5 will be at FSOA for school photos. Students will be able to take their photos at two times:

    • During Peer Engagement and immediately afterwards from 8 AM to 1 PM

      • Attending Peer Engagement is not mandatory to participate in the pictures, but we encourage you to join us for the fun. 

    • During Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:30 to 7:30. 

Voter Registration

  • The district has two funding measures on this November’s ballot. One is a bond to invest in our building, and the other is a mill levy override to invest in operations such as staffing and academic programming. 

  • Take this opportunity to check your voter registration, and make sure it’s up-to-date with your current address! Visit govotecolorado.com

Menchie's Fundraiser - Its FroYo Season!

  • Join us on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 1:00 - 7:00 PM for some delicious frozen yogurt!

    • Where: Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, 1001 W 120th Ave #110 (yes - that's right by our school!)

    • How: Mention "FSOA Student Government" when you check out to have 20% of your order donated.

Skate City Fundraiser - Get Ready to Roll, FSOA! 

  • Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 24th, from 5:00-7:00 PM, because we're taking over Skate City in Westminster (200 W. 121st St.) for an epic night of fun! 

  • Admission is just $7—bring your own skates or rent a pair for $5.
