Information about P/SAT Next week!

Student participation in the PSAT is a key component of Five Star Online’s school “report card” with the state, so we are hoping to see 100% student participation on both days!

Additional benefits to participating in these assessments include the following:

  • Credit toward graduation!  Students may earn up to a 0.50 credits in English and Math, based on either growth or performance.

  • The PSAT is excellent preparation for the SAT, which students will take as juniors.  Scores on the SAT can meet a student’s College & Career Readiness Demonstrations, which are required to graduate.

  • And may we add that there will be pancakes for students taking the PSAT or SAT in the morning, and a yummy sandwich lunch for those testing in the afternoon!?!  We will also ensure that you have plenty of snacks!

Learning Lab-Monday

We will have a limited learning lab experience for high school students on Monday due to CMAS testing.  High School students will be able to access support from a small number of teachers and there will be few opportunities for breaks, walks, etc.  Please ensure that your students is prepared for a study-hall type of environment if they come in person on Monday.

Additionally, we will NOT be hosting virtual learning lab on Monday.
