Information about P/SAT Next week!
Student participation in the PSAT is a key component of Five Star Online’s school “report card” with the state, so we are hoping to see 100% student participation on both days!
Additional benefits to participating in these assessments include the following:
-
Credit toward graduation! Students may earn up to a 0.50 credits in English and Math, based on either growth or performance.
-
Please refer to District Policy 6340, Section 2.0 for additional details.
-
-
The PSAT is excellent preparation for the SAT, which students will take as juniors. Scores on the SAT can meet a student’s College & Career Readiness Demonstrations, which are required to graduate.
-
And may we add that there will be pancakes for students taking the PSAT or SAT in the morning, and a yummy sandwich lunch for those testing in the afternoon!?! We will also ensure that you have plenty of snacks!

Additionally, we will NOT be hosting virtual learning lab on Monday.
