In-Person MAP Assessment for Grades 6-9: Wednesday, August 27th
-
Please note that Wednesday, August 27, 2025 is an in-person assessment day for some of our secondary students.
-
All students in Grades 6-9
-
Students in Grades 10 - 12 who are on an IEP or are in an ELD class.
-
-
This assessment helps us to learn more about your child’s reading and math skills so our teachers can plan instruction that is individualized to their needs.
-
We are requesting that your student(s) come in-person on Assessment Day in order to complete these assessments. We will be offering two different time options, so you can pick the one that is the most convenient.
-
Morning Session from 8:00 - 11:00
-
Afternoon Session from 12:15 - 3:15
-
Virtual Peer Engagement for Grades 10 - 12: Wednesday, August 27th
-
Due to our MAP Assessments, we will not have in-person Peer Engagement on August 27th. Instead, our teachers will facilitate virtual Peer Engagement for students in Grades 10 - 12 only. This is a great opportunity for students to connect with their peers!
-
Links and details will be on their English class pages in Schoology.
Adjusted Schedule: Wednesday September 3rd
-
On Wednesday, September 3rd, FSOA will be running a TUESDAY bell schedule.
-
This shift is to ensure a consistent learning experience for students that week, as students have no school on September 1st and 2nd.
-
No Peer Engagement this date.
-
Adams 12 Mill Levy Override (MLO)
When compared to nearby school districts, Adams 12 Five Star Schools ranks 14th out of 15 nearby school districts in per student mill levy override (MLO) dollars. That means we have less money than others for ongoing teacher salaries and academic programming. We have a solution. If voters pass an MLO in November, the district would secure much-needed funding to invest in safety, world-class staff and academic programming. Learn more.
Benefits for Your Family AND our School!
-
While FSOA students currently receive free school meals through our Meal Box program, the future of the Healthy School Meals for All program is unknown for the second semester due to limited state funding.
-
Help us to secure meal status for the full school year and unlock benefits for your family & our school!
-
By applying, families may receive additional assistance on fees (including reduced fees for field trips).
-
Families must reapply each school year. APPLY TODAY!
