FSOA Secondary Updates: 5/19/23

Dear FSOA Parents/Guardians and Students, 

Please see important updates for this week below!

End of Semester / Final Exam Schedule

Finals for middle and high school students  will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd  and Wednesday, May 24th.  For the complete schedule, click here. 

• All high school classes will have a final exam or culminating project

• All middle school classes will have a final exam, unit exam, or culminating project

• Students will be required to log into class and take the exams during the time shown.  

• Please note that exams are intended to be 60 minutes in length.  Extra time (+50%) is built into this schedule between class periods, to support students who have an accommodation on their 504 or IEP. 

High School Graduation/Senior Information

May 22nd:  GRADUATION

• We will hold an in-person ceremony to honor our graduating seniors. The ceremony will take place on May 22, 2023 at 4pm at Macky Auditorium in Boulder.   

• Seniors must arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. for rehearsal; family and friends can enter at 3:00. 

End of the Year Celebration!

Join us for our second annual End of the Year Celebration! 

• May 25th from 9am-12pm

• Five Star Stadium- 9351 Washington St. Thornton, CO 80229 

• All students and families are invited to swing by.  We will have games, crafts, a place to drop off school supplies you need to return, and Don Rogelio’s Food Truck will be there! Come celebrate with your teachers and classmates!

Materials Return

Please return materials either to our FSOA Office (1500 E 128th Ave Thornton, CO) or bring them to the End of Year Celebration.

• Chromebook and charger (ONLY if your device is not working or if you are not returning to Five Star Online Academy or another Adams 12 school.  Returning students can keep their Chromebooks over the summer)

• Textbooks

Yearbooks for Sale!

Buy your 2022-2023 school yearbook! Yearbook prices are $15 for the digital copy OR $30 for the digital and Hard Copy package. Go to www.PayForit.net  and register/ log into your account to add a yearbook to your student's account. The yearbook purchasing options are listed under "Optional Fees". Yearbooks are now available in the FSOA office.
