Thanks to our community’s support, Ballot Issue 5B passed! The local measure helps narrow the funding gap between the Five Star District and nearby school districts in the Denver metro area. Learn more about how we’ll use MLO funding to invest in staff, safety and programming.

 

Attendance Reminders

Thank you for being our partners in ensuring that students attend class regularly and engage in their learning.   As we move into the last 6 weeks of the semester, we wanted to remind you about our school attendance policies, which can be found on page 4 of our Secondary Student Handbook.   The handbook provides information on what constitutes an absence, a partial absence, and a tardy for a synchronous class.  Additionally, there is helpful information on how asynchronous attendance is determined. 

If you have questions about a specific period of attendance for a course, please reach out to your child’s teacher directly.

SAVE THE DATE-MAP Assessments-IN PERSON

• Please save the date for our in-person MAP Assessment day in December!

  • When:  December 10th, Morning or Afternoon Sessions

  • Who:  

    • All students in Grades 6-9

    • Students in Grades 10 - 12 who are on an IEP or are in an ELD class. 

  • Where: In-Person at FSOA!
