**This communication is for students in grades 2-5.  Information for secondary students will be sent in a separate email**

Dear Five Star Online Parents and Students,

It’s been exciting to see our students both virtually and in our in-person learning labs this week!

Elementary Assessment Day

Please note that Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 is Elementary Assessment Day.  The purpose of this day is to test your students in reading and math so that our teachers can plan instruction that is individualized to your student’s needs! At this time, our most accurate testing is formatted for in-person administration.  This means we are requesting that your child(ren) come in-person for one session (3 hours) on Assessment Day in order to complete these assessments.  In addition to reading and math assessments, your child will participate in vision and hearing screenings.

On assessment day, there will be no live instruction. The regular daily schedule will resume on Wednesday, September 7th.  For these in-person assessments, we will be utilizing space at the Adams 12 Educational Support Center.
