It was so exciting to see all who attended the FSOA elementary orientation today! We hope you left feeling excited and with the skills to understand your schedule and navigate your Chromebook for this year.
Here are a few quickstart items from our presentation to ensure you know where to go tomorrow:

SYNCHRONOUS ZOOM CLASSES
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings
Student schedules are posted on your Schoology course page
All students begin class at 7:40am for their morning meeting
Zoom links are located on the icons at the top of your screen. Click on the icon for each class on your schedule to open zoom!
ASYNCHRONOUS INDEPENDENT WORK
Each afternoon the students have time to complete asynchronous independent work, and all day Thursday
Work is assigned weekly on a Tuesday and due the following Monday
To access asynchronous work, locate “Buzz” on your dashboard (you may need to add the bookmark if you do not see it on the front page)
Students have weekly work assigned in math, science, social studies and ART/PE (specials work rotates on a weekly basis).
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
Learning Labs (available virtual and in-person) are available for tutoring and support
Weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:30pm

Peer Enrichment and Engagement
Weekly on Thursday mornings from 8:00-12:00pm

Teacher office hours are Mondays and Fridays from 1:00-1:30pm
