**This communication is for students in grades 4-5.  Information for our secondary students will be in a separate email.*

Phoenix Families,

With Halloween behind us and Thanksgiving drawing near, we hope you will consider supporting our FSOA food drive as we look to support families in our community who may be in need. See below for more details and other important information.

In appreciation,

Adria Moersen Lamb, Principal

FSOA Food Drive

  • Student Government is partnering with Broomfield FISH to collect non-perishable items to donate to families in need in our community. Collection bins will be at the school from Monday, November 4 through Friday, November 8.
    • Some high need items are crackers, cereal, dry soup, personal care items, dry pasta and canned corn. Every little bit helps!
  • Please reach out to Ms Edge (at edg025998@adams12.org) if you have any questions about donating.

Parent Academy

  • Join us in person at FSOA or virtually on Tuesday, November 12th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM for our first Parent Academy of the year. We will be watching the film Screenager: Growing Up in the Digital Age. This film explores the impact of technology and the importance of digital citizenship for youth. Please RSVP by emailing Mx. Neufeld (at neu011364@adams12.org), and let her know if you will be attending virtually or in person.

Your Pie Pizza Fundraiser

  • Join us on Thursday, November 14th anytime between 5pm - 8pm at Your Pie Pizza (14342 Lincoln Street, Thornton, CO 80023) to help us raise money for Student Government! A portion of EVERYTHING ordered during this time will be donated to our club, and used to create awesome events for our students. Thank you for your support!

Join hundreds of thousands of Coloradans and cast your ballots in this year’s General Election, which features numerous national and state elected offices as well as many state and local measures, including two here in Adams 12 Five Star Schools - Ballot Issues 5D & 5E.
