FSOA: Secondary Parent Communication 5/9/2025

Dear FSOA Parents/Guardians and Students,
A huge congratulations to our Seniors whose last day of school is today! To the rest of our FSOA students, we encourage you to keep working hard and finish this year strong! Keep reading for other important happenings at FSOA.

Wednesday, May 14th
- FSOA will have a teacher inservice day Wednesday, May 14th.
- We will *not* have Peer Engagement or Virtual Learning Lab on this day.
Senior Information
- Seniors,remember that you have check-out and graduation over the next two weeks..
- Graduation will take place on May 21st at 3 PM at Macky Auditorium in Boulder. We encourage all FSOA students and their families to join in the celebration.

End of Semester / Final Exam Schedule - Save the Date
- Finals for middle and high school students will take place on Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday, May 28th. For the complete schedule and additional details, click here.
- All classes must have a culminating final activity for each course. This may be an exam, a project, or a presentation.
- Even if the students have turned in their projects/completed their presentations ahead of time, all classes will meet on the final exam days.
- Final exams will not be given early for high school students.
Save the Date: Student Awards and Continuation
- Save the Date: We will hold an in-person ceremony to honor our students! The ceremony will take place on May 27, 2025 at 6pm.
- The following awards will be presented:
- Make A Difference Awards (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Continuation for 5th and 8th graders
- The following awards will be presented:
- Students who will be receiving a Make A Difference Award and all 5th and 8th grade students received an invitation on Thursday, May 1st.
End of Year Celebration
- We're excited to invite you to our End-of-Year Celebration! Join us for a day of fun activities and delicious food on Thursday, May 29th from 9-12 at Five Star Stadium (9351 Washington St. Thornton CO 80229).

Yearbooks on Sale
- Yearbooks are on sale - get them while supplies last!
- They can be purchased for $40 at the FSOA main office.Please contact the main office at 720-972-7430 with any questions.
Peer Engagement Pick-up
- As a reminder, Peer Engagement ends at noon, and students should be picked up no later than 12:10.
- If you need to pre-arrange a later pick-up, please email Assistant Principal Adam Martin at mar017290@adams12.org.
- If an emergency situation arises, please contact the main office at 720-972-7430 or come into the vestibule when you drop off your student to make alternative arrangements.
